Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Way2Door ("we", "us") for using the Way2Door app, the Way2Door Business app, our web pages and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Way2Door is

Way2Door is software that helps local businesses sell on a schedule (for example daily milk) and helps their customers manage subscriptions, deliveries and payments. Way2Door does not sell, deliver or own the products. Each business is the seller: it sets its products, prices, delivery times and payment terms, and it is responsible for the quality, delivery and billing of what it sells.

2. Accounts

  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
  • A business may invite you with an activation link. Using it connects your account to that business.

3. For customers

  • Changes you make in the app (quantity, pauses, vacations) apply from the next delivery after the business's daily cut-off time shown in the app. Changes after the cut-off apply to later deliveries.
  • Your bill is calculated from the deliveries the business records. Vacation days you set before the cut-off are not charged. If a bill looks wrong, raise it with the business in the app; it can correct the record.
  • Payments, refunds and disputes about products or delivery are between you and the business. We will help where the records in Way2Door can settle a question.

4. For businesses

  • You are responsible for your products, prices, taxes (including GST), invoices, deliveries and staff, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including food safety and consumer protection.
  • You decide what customer data to enter and how to use it. You must have a lawful basis to add customers and to message them, and you must honour their requests (for example to stop messages or delete data). We process customer data on your behalf under our Privacy Policy.
  • You control who in your team has access and what they can do. You are responsible for your staff's use of the Services.
  • Delivery staff use the Business app's Delivery mode; its location recording is part of the delivery record you keep.

5. Notifications and WhatsApp

  • Customers receive service messages (delivery updates, bills, reminders, activation links) by app notification, WhatsApp, or both, depending on the business's plan and settings.
  • A business that connects its WhatsApp Business number must also follow Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and Commerce Policy. Meta may charge the business for WhatsApp conversations; those charges are billed by Meta to the business.
  • Customers can reply STOP to stop WhatsApp messages from a business, and START to resume.
  • Messages may be delayed or not delivered for reasons outside our control (for example network issues or Meta's systems). Don't rely on Way2Door messages for anything urgent or safety-critical.

6. Plans and fees

The Way2Door app is free for customers. Businesses use Way2Door under a plan; features such as WhatsApp messaging and the WhatsApp inbox depend on the plan. Plan prices and billing terms are agreed with each business separately.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
  • send spam or messages people have not agreed to receive;
  • access another business's or person's data without permission;
  • try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the security of the Services;
  • upload malware or content that infringes others' rights.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

8. Our content and your content

The Services, apps, designs and the Way2Door name belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them under these terms. Data that you or your business enter stays yours; you give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Services.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but they may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Delivery mode keeps working offline and syncs when the connection returns. We may change or stop features; for important changes we will tell you in advance.

10. Disclaimers and liability

  • The Services are provided "as is". We are not responsible for products, deliveries, prices or payments, which are the business's responsibility.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability to a business is limited to the fees it paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if none.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your account. A business can disconnect WhatsApp or close its account; records it must keep by law will be kept for that period. We may end access if these terms are broken or if we stop the Services, with reasonable notice where possible.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally; if that fails, the courts of India have jurisdiction.
